Recent Boston Injury Case Settlements
Despite the pandemic, the Earley Law Group Injury Lawyers has been able to successfully settle a number of Massachusetts personal injury claims. We have found that insurance companies are up and running and operating in their normal and usual course of business. We have been able to resolve claims amicably with claims adjusters even though we are currently working remotely.
Here is a sample of some recent claims that we have been able to successfully settle for our personal injury clients:

1. We were able to settle a workers’ compensation matter for a client. Our client, a roofer, fell from a roof and sustained a fractured left foot. Specifically, he suffered a Lisfranc fracture, which did require surgery to repair. A claim was filed for our client, and over the span of time, we were able to successfully settle his claim for a confidential amount.
2. We were able to successfully settle a client’s slip and fall accident claim. Our client, an elderly woman, slipped and fell on a liquid on the floor of a mall. Our client was shopping at the mall with family when this incident occurred. She suffered a fractured hip, which would require surgery. That claim settled for a confidential amount.
3. We were able to settle a car accident case for one of our clients. Our client was involved in a very serious car accident. As a result of the accident, he sustains a fracture to one of his vertebrae. He wasn’t able to obtain a great deal of medical treatment following his hospital visit. The reason for that is there was really nothing he could do for additional treatment after the hospital visit because the nature of the fracture simply required rest and recuperation for it to heal properly. That case also settled for a confidential amount.
4. We also were able to successfully settle, for a confidential amount, a claim for a client who was struck by a motor vehicle. Our client, a pedestrian, was struck in a crosswalk in East Boston and sustained very serious injuries. She is an elderly woman and sustained numerous injuries requiring not only hospitalization but an extensive rehabilitation to address her injuries suffered in the accident.
