REPRESENTING THE INJURED

The Earley Law Group Injury Lawyers wishes all of our past and present clients a safe, prosperous and healthy 2011. Thank you for being a client of our office. We truly appreciate you. Here is some free legal information that I wanted to pass onto each and every one of you as a courtesy of being a client of firm. Also, I have included some recent success stories we have achieved for some of our clients which we are very proud of.

SOME THINGS TO DO (AND SOME THINGS NOT TO DO) FOLLOWING AN AUTO ACCIDENT:

1) Call the police;

2) Tell the police officer(s) exactly how the accident occurred;

3) Be careful what you say to the other driver; keep things to an absolute minimum;

4) If you have a camera in your car, photograph the accident scene and damage to both vehicles (or as soon as practically possible);

5) Obtain medical treatment as soon as possible;

6) Contact your insurance company immediately to report the accident;

7) DO NOT talk with anyone who calls you from the other driver's insurance company;

8) Do not panic if the police report is inaccurate as to how the accident occurred;

9) Contact an attorney immediately if you were injured in the accident;

10) Keep records of all of your medical treatment.

HERE ARE SOME ELEMENS OF A SLIP AND FALL CASE:

1) Good photographs were taken which show the area of the slip and fall accident was negligently maintained;

2) There is an incident report documenting the accident;

3) Immediate medical attention is sought;

4) The injuries, as well as the amount of the medical bills, are substantial;

5) There is missed time from work following the accident;

6) There are witnesses to the accident;

7) The injury victim was not running, was not intoxicated, and was walking carefully when he/she slipped;

8) There is a surveillance video of the accident which does not hurt the injury victim's case;

RECENT SETTLEMENTS WE HAVE ACHIEVED FOR OUR CLIENTS:

WORKERS’ COMPENSATION CASE RESULT

EMT injured on the job. Client had significant back operation and City of Boston agreed to settle the case for $50,000.00.

SLIP AND FALL CASE RESULT

Client injured while walking out of a pizza shop. Client slipped on ice on sidewalk and broke his ankle. After many months of litigation, the case recently settled for $42,500.00.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT CASE RESULT

Client injured when she was rear-ended by another vehicle. Insurance company initially offered Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) to settle. We filed a lawsuit and eventually and were able to convince the insurance company to pay our client the maximum amount of insurance coverage available, which for that case was $20,000.00.

Please note we cannot guarantee any particular result for your case. These case examples, and results, in no way represent a guaranteed outcome of your case as each and every case is unique with different facts and damages.
