As of November 1, 2009, MBTA Will Be Subject to M.G.L. c.258

Due to a recent legislative bill, the MBTA’s exposure is now capped at $100,000.oo for personal injury claims that are brought against the MBTA. However, there is an exception to this monetary cap in the event of “serious bodily injury.”
