MILTON, MA – A two-vehicle collision in northeastern Norfolk County killed two people over the Fourth of July weekend, reports NBC 10 Boston.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Randolph Avenue and Hillside Street in the city of Milton, which is about ten miles south of Boston.
Police say that a Toyota Corolla and a Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 collided head-on along Randolph Avenue when one of the two drivers entered oncoming traffic.
The two occupants of the Toyota died at the scene of the crash. Authorities identified the victims as Diane Myers, 71, and her son, 39-year-old Jonathan Myers.
Medics airlifted the driver of the Mercedes, identified as 47-year-old Charles A. Ocitti, to a Boston hospital. He died Sunday morning.
