ORANGE, MA – Drivers faced delays along South Main Street on the south side of Orange Tuesday night following a fatal collision, reports WWLP 22.
Emergency teams responded to the 400 block of South Main, near 2nd Street, shortly after 9:30 p.m. This is just northwest of Ralph C. Mahar Regional School.
Thus far, police haven’t shared any details regarding the circumstances of the accident except to say that it involved a motorcycle.
The 35-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
Officials closed South Main between 2nd Street and Hayden Street while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
