BOSTON, MA – Four people sustained injuries Friday morning in a multi-vehicle collision along the interstate in Boston, reports Boston 25 News.
The accident happened sometime during early morning rush hour on the southbound side of I-93 near Columbia Road, which is just southwest of Joe Moakley Park and Carson Beach.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash, which closed two lanes of I-93 southbound while crews worked at the scene.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the collision or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.
Medics transported four people to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
