Man arrested in hospital for hit-and-run at Main, Hinckley

TEWKSBURY, MA – A 28-year-old man was arrested in the hospital after a hit-and-run collision that happened this past Sunday in northeast Middlesex County.

According to Patch, the accident happened shortly before 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Hinckley Road in Tewksbury, which is approximately 24 miles northwest of Boston.

Police say that a Jeep and Honda CRV collided in the intersection. They’ve not yet specified the cause or circumstances of the crash except to say that the driver of the Jeep left the scene without stopping to render aid.

While the occupants of the Honda received medical attention at the scene, they did not require hospitalization.

Authorities located the driver of the Jeep, who they identified as 28-year-old Dasuan Jacobs.

Jacobs was arrested after he was admitted to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
