Major collision blocks Main near Crescent in Kingston

KINGSTON, MA – Emergency teams responded to a serious accident along a major roadway in east-central Plymouth County on Thursday night, reports WCVB 5.

The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Main Street, or MA-3, near Crescent Street in the city of Kingston. This is approximately 36 miles southeast of Boston.

Police haven’t yet commented on injuries, the cause of the collision, or the number of vehicles involved.

Officials closed Main Street between Howlands Lane and Boundary Street while crews assisted the victims and worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
