Elderly driver killed in 2-vehicle crash at Plymouth and Bridge

EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA – An elderly man sustained fatal injuries Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision in northwest Plymouth County.

According to Boston 25 News, the accident happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Plymouth Street and Bridge Street in East Bridgewater, approximately 32 miles southeast of Boston.

Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the accident except to say that an 86-year-old driver was killed. The victim has not been named publicly.

The other driver did not require hospitalization.

Officials closed the intersection of Bridge and Plymouth while emergency crews worked at the scene.
