Car and motorcycle collide at Washington and Summer, killing 1

ARLINGTON, MA – A 65-year-old man died this past Sunday in a two-vehicle collision in Middlesex County, reports NBC 10 Boston.

Around 8 p.m., emergency crews responded to a major accident at Washington Street and Summer Street in Arlington, which is about 87 miles northwest of Boston.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash. Police say that a passenger vehicle collided with a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, identified as Martin Mitchell, died after transport to an area hospital.

The other driver, identified only as an 18-year-old from Saugus, went to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
