BERLIN, MA – A major crash in east-central Worcester County claimed the life of a 23-year-old man over the Labor Day weekend, reports Boston News 25.
The accident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday on West Street, or MA-62, in the city of Berlin, which is approximately 40 miles west of Boston.
Police say that more unknown reasons, a motorcyclist lost control of his bike and collided with a house. The biker was ejected upon impact.
Medics attempted to resuscitate the victim, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash. It’s unclear if the house sustained structural damage.
