CHICOPEE, MA – A 24-year-old man died early Sunday in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in north-central Hampden County, reports Western Mass News.
Shortly before 2 a.m., emergency crews responded to a fatal motorcycle accident on Fuller Road in the city of Chicopee. This is about an hour and a half southwest of Boston.
Police say that a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle collided along Fuller. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
After attempting CPR, medics transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he soon succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased.
The driver of the passenger vehicle did stop to render aid and to speak with police.
A full investigation is underway.
