FRAMINGHAM, MA – Police are investigating a crash that killed one person Wednesday morning in southwest Middlesex County, reports NBC 10 Boston.
Shortly before 10 a.m., emergency teams responded to an auto-pedestrian accident at the intersection of Concord Street and Gorman Road in Framingham, which is around 22 miles southwest of Boston.
Police haven’t shared many details regarding the circumstances of the collision. They say that the driver involved did not stop to render aid or to speak with authorities.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries. Their name has not yet been released to the public.
Sometime after the crash, police located and arrested a suspect.
A full investigation is underway.
