1 airlifted in crash involving car, cement truck in NE Millis

MILLIS, MA – A two-vehicle collision involving a truck seriously injured one person Thursday in northwest Norfolk County, reports Newport Dispatch.

Around 1:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a major accident at Main Street and Village Street in Millis, which is around 31 miles southwest of Boston.

Police haven’t yet determined what caused a cement truck and a passenger vehicle to collide in the intersection.

Medics airlifted the 68-year-old driver of the car to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported in connection to the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
