CHATHAM, MA – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries last Friday in a crash along the highway in southeast Barnstable County, reports Patch.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. along MA-28, or Main Street, at Pilgrim Village Way in Chatham. This is about 87 miles southeast of Boston on Cape Cod.
It’s not yet clear if the victim was walking in a designated crosswalk when the collision occurred.
Medics airlifted the pedestrian on a trauma alert to a hospital in Boston.
Authorities haven’t shared any details about the driver involved in the crash, nor do we know if they will face charges.
