Injuries reported in pedestrian crash at Randolph, Wentworth

CANTON, MA – One person was hospitalized Wednesday following an auto-pedestrian crash in northeast Norfolk County, reports WHDH 7.

Shortly before 7 p.m., emergency crews responded to an injury collision at Randolph Street and Wentworth Road in northeast Canton, which is around 19 miles southwest of Boston.

It’s not yet clear if the victim was utilizing a designated crosswalk when the vehicle hit him.

Medics transported the pedestrian to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver involved in the accident stopped to render aid and to speak with authorities.

A full investigation is underway.
