1 killed, 3 hurt in car vs. box truck crash in Brockton

BROCKTON, MA – A two-vehicle collision involving a box truck in northwest Plymouth County killed one person and injured three others Friday morning.

According to NBC 10 Boston, the accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Quincy Street and Centre Street in Brockton, which is around 23 miles south of Boston.

Police haven’t shared any details about the crash except to say that it involved a box truck and a passenger vehicle carrying four people.

One person from the passenger vehicle died at the scene. Authorities have not yet disclosed the name of the deceased.

Medics transported three people from the passenger vehicle to an area hospital with serious injuries.

It’s unclear if the driver of the box truck was hurt in the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
