WELLESLEY, MA – A two-vehicle collision along the highway in north-central Norfolk County sent a state trooper to the hospital on Friday.
According to Boston 25 News, the accident occurred in the morning along MA-9 near I-95 in east Wellesley, which is about 14 miles southwest of Boston.
Police haven’t shared any details about the accident except to say that both vehicles sustained damage.
There’s no word yet regarding the severity of the officer’s injuries, nor do we know if anyone else was hurt in the crash.
The collision likely caused rush-hour delays along MA-9 on the east side of Wellesley while emergency crews attended to the victim and worked to clear both vehicles from the scene.
