PLYMOUTH, MA – Plymouth police are investigating a collision involving a vehicle and an e-bike that happened Saturday about 40 miles southeast of Boston.
According to Boston 25 News, emergency crews responded to the crash around 1 p.m. at White Horse Road and Rocky Hill Road, which is just south of White Horse Beach and St. Catherine’s Chapel Park on the southeast side of Plymouth.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident or the manner in which the bike and vehicle impacted.
Photos taken at the scene depict a blue sedan with damage to the windshield on the passenger side.
They say that the teen operator of an e-bike required hospitalization following the collision for potentially serious injuries.
No other injuries have been reported thus far in connection to the wreck, and officials haven’t shared any details about the driver of the car involved in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
