This is Lucas (middle), and he won the 2026 Earley Law Group Injury Lawyers $3,000 Club Baseball Scholarship for his compelling essay about what baseball means to him.
Yesterday, my wife Rory, my son Oliver, and I had the opportunity to meet Lucas and his family to present him with the scholarship check in person.
What an awesome family.
One of the things I love most about this scholarship is that it’s about more than just baseball. It’s about recognizing young people who work hard, show character, and understand the life lessons that sports teach such as discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and resilience.
As many of you know, we’re excited to be opening our new Quincy office this August. As we become part of the Quincy community, it’s important to me that we do more than simply practice law there. We want to support local families, give back whenever we can, and invest in the people and organizations that make the community so special.
This scholarship is just one small way we’re hoping to do that, and I look forward to finding even more opportunities to support young people and local organizations in the years ahead.
Lucas, congratulations again. We know you’ll do great things both on and off the baseball field.
Go crush it, Lucas! âš¾
