Our Chris Earley Cares Halloween Costume Drive has wrapped up, and thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part, we collected and donated 135 Halloween costumes to Interfaith Social Services in Quincy!
Halloween is one of the most exciting nights of the year for kids. Picking out a costume, heading out to trick-or-treat, and coming home with a bag full of candy are memories many of us still carry. This drive was about making sure more local kids get to be part of that fun.
Delivering 135 Costumes to Interfaith Social Services
In the week before Interfaith’s distribution day, Chris’s wife, Rory, dropped off all 135 costumes at Interfaith Social Services in Quincy. Interfaith provides food assistance, mental health support, and other services to South Shore families, and we are grateful for the work they do in our community.

On Saturday, October 17, Chris and his daughter, Alice, volunteered at Interfaith’s Annual Halloween Costume Distribution Day. Together they helped hand out candy to children, and Alice also helped kids find the perfect costumes for trick-or-treating.
Helping a child find just the right costume is a small thing, but it can make a big difference in how that child feels when Halloween arrives. That is what this drive is all about.
The Impact on Local Families
Every one of the 135 costumes went to Interfaith Social Services to help families in and around Quincy. That means more kids heading out on Halloween night dressed as the character, superhero, or spooky creature they picked out themselves, and more families who can enjoy the holiday together.
Drives like this one are a reminder of what a community can do when people come together. Each donation, big or small, added up to something that made Halloween special for local families this year.
Thank You to Everyone Who Contributed
This drive would not have been possible without you. To everyone who donated a costume, shared the drive with friends and neighbors, or helped in any way: thank you. Your generosity made Halloween a little brighter for kids in our community.
We also want to thank Interfaith Social Services for everything they do for South Shore families, and for the chance to be part of their Annual Halloween Costume Distribution Day.
