BROCKTON, MA – Police are working to determine what may have caused a vehicle to crash into a house on the northeast side of Brockton on Sunday afternoon.
According to WHDH 7 News, the accident occurred around 4 p.m. on East Ashland Street, which runs east to west between Linwood Street and Main Street. Brockton is about 24 miles south of Boston.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a red sedan struck a rock, a pole, and an empty car before impacting with a house on Ashland.
The driver of the vehicle sustained non-critical injuries; it’s unclear if he required hospitalization.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident, and officials are still working to determine the severity of damages to the house.
No charges have been filed thus far.
A full investigation is underway.
