Man killed after crashing into home near Summer, Amelia

MEDWAY, MA – A driver sustained fatal injuries Thursday when his vehicle slammed into a house in Norfolk County, reports WHDH 7 News.

The accident happened shortly before 9 a.m. on Summer Street between Amelia Way and Summer Valley Lane in the city of Medway, which is around 43 miles southwest of Boston.

It’s not yet clear what caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle, depart from the roadway, and crash into an area home.

The driver died after transport to an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released his name to the public.

No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
