The collision occurred sometime in the morning on the northbound side of I-95 near Exit 19 in the city of Sharon, which is about 24 miles southwest of Boston.
Police haven’t yet specified the cause of the crash or the total number of vehicles involved.
Medics transported a motorcyclist to the hospital with critical injuries.
Officials closed lanes in the area of the accident while emergency teams assisted the victim. Crews were able to clear the scene and re-open all lanes by around 2:15 p.m.
A full investigation is underway.
