Call Earley Before It’s Too Late!TAUNTON, MA – A child died, and two other people were hurt Friday when two vehicles collided head-on in northeast Bristol County, reports CBS News.
The accident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. on Broadway, or TX-138, in the city of Taunton, which is approximately 38 miles south of Boston.
Police say that a southbound Toyota Rav4 entered the wrong side of Broadway and collided head on with a northbound Chevy van.
The occupants of the Chevy were uninjured in the crash.
A toddler from the Rav4 died after transport to an area hospital.
The driver of the Rav4 and a 5-year-old girl were hospitalized in stable condition.
No charges have been filed so far.
The investigation is ongoing.
