MARSHFIELD, MA – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries Sunday night along a major roadway in northeast Plymouth County.
The accident occurred just after 9 p.m. on Plain Street, or MA-139, in Marshfield, which is 29 miles southeast of Boston.
The investigation indicates that a vehicle crossed the center line on Plain Road and collided head on with a second vehicle.
One of the drivers became entrapped and required extrication.
Both drivers were hospitalized with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
