Collision on Homestead Ln in Leicester kills 1, hurts 2

LEICESTER, MA – One person died Wednesday when a vehicle crashed into a house in southeast Worcester County, reports WCVB 5.

The accident occurred around 1 p.m. at 6 Homestead Lane in Leicester, which is about 53 miles southwest of Boston.

Police say that a black car hit three people when it crashed through an open garage and into a residential home.

One person became pinned beneath the vehicle and ultimately died after being airlifted to an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.

Medics transported the other two victims to the hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

It’s unclear if the driver sustained injuries in the collision.

A full investigation is underway.
