Honda hits unoccupied vehicle in E Lawrence, killing driver

LAWRENCE, MA – Police have identified the victim of an auto accident that happened this past Sunday in west-central Essex County, reports NBC 10 Boston.

The collision happened shortly before midnight at Ames Street and Butler Street, which is just south of Bruce School and north of Lawrence Family Public Academy on the west side of Lawrence. This is about 30 miles northwest of Boston.

Police say that for unknown reasons, the 20-year-old driver of a Honda sedan crashed into a second Honda sedan that was parked and unoccupied.

The driver of the first vehicle succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident. Authorities identified the victim as Reimy Moya-Nunez.

No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
