Trash collector hurt in Southboro hit-and-run on Pine Hill Rd

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA – A garbage collector sustained injuries Monday afternoon when a vehicle struck them along a residential roadway in Southborough.

According to WHDH 7 News, the accident happened around 1:15 p.m. in the area of 92 Pine Hill Road, which is just west of Callahan State Park and about 30 minutes southwest of Boston.

Police say that the unknown driver of a gray Nissan Murano hit the waste removal worker while they were working on Pine Hill Road. The driver did not stop to render aid and to speak with authorities.

Medics transported the worker to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.

Authorities are actively looking for the car and driver involved in the accident. Anyone with information or tips to share can contact Southborough Police, as the investigation continues.
