NORWOOD, MA – Injuries have been reported in connection to a collision on Monday involving a vehicle and a bicycle in central Norfolk County.
According to WHDH 7, the accident happened around 12:30 p.m. at Walpole Street and Garden Parkway in Norwood, which is about half an hour southwest of Boston.
Authorities haven’t yet specified what might have caused the vehicle and the bicycle to collide.
Medics transported the cyclist to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain injuries in the crash.
Officials closed roads in the area of the collision while emergency crews assisted the victim and worked to clear the scene.
