The From Collision to Clarity Scholarship, offered by Earley Law Group, recognizes students who have faced a pivotal obstacle and transformed that experience into growth, insight, and motivation to move forward.
Earley Law Group will award $2,500 to a deserving undergraduate student who is pursuing higher education at an accredited college or university in the United States. Students from all areas of study are encouraged to apply by submitting an essay reflecting on a defining challenge and how it shaped their personal or academic journey. The deadline to apply is October 30, 2026, and all applications must be submitted using the form available on this page.
The goal of this scholarship is to highlight resilience and personal development. Many students encounter moments that disrupt their plans or challenge their sense of direction. Who Is Eligible?
The From Collision to Clarity Scholarship is open to undergraduate students who meet the following requirements:
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and an unofficial transcript included with the application
- Currently enrolled in or admitted to an accredited college or university in the United States as an undergraduate student
- A U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to attend school or work in the United States
- Submission of an original essay responding to the scholarship prompt below
- Proof of acceptance or enrollment at a college or university

Explain how the lessons learned from this experience helped guide your academic path, career interests, or broader life goals.
Applicants are encouraged to be thoughtful and reflective when writing their essays. Strong submissions will clearly explain how a challenging moment influenced the applicant’s perspective and helped them develop resilience, determination, or a new sense of direction.
Essay Requirements
To ensure eligibility, essays must follow these guidelines:
- 500 to 1,000 words in length
- A catchy and original title that reflects the focus of the essay
- A bibliography listing all sources used, such as books, articles, websites, reports, or other references
- Proper citations where outside information is referenced
- Double-spaced formatting, 12-point font, and 1-inch margins

Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to apply for the From Collision to Clarity Scholarship is October 30, 2026.
Applications received after this date will not be taken into consideration.
Once the application period closes, the scholarship selection committee will review all submissions. Depending on the number of applications received, the evaluation process may take one to three months to complete.

Terms and Conditions
All applicants must meet the eligibility requirements outlined on this scholarship page, including:
- Enrollment at a college, trade school, university, or graduate school
- At least 18 years old at the time of enrollment
- Residency in the United States
- Good academic standing
- Submission of personal information, including name, contact information, and academic details
- Submission of an original essay addressing the scholarship topic provided
- Meeting the scholarship’s minimum GPA requirement and proof of enrollment or acceptance
The following individuals are not eligible to apply:
- Employees or children of employees of Earley Law Group
- Past recipients of the From Collision to Clarity Scholarship
- Applicants unwilling or unable to participate in an interview with a representative of Earley Law Group if selected as the scholarship recipient
- Applicants who submit the same essay for multiple scholarships or across multiple years
Selection and Award Notification Process
All applications must be received before the deadline listed above. Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
A scholarship selection committee will review all eligible submissions and evaluate essays based on clarity, originality, and the applicant’s ability to reflect on personal growth and resilience. Age, race, religion, gender, national origin, familial status, or other protected characteristics will have no influence on the committee’s decision.
Due to the high volume of applications received each year, Earley Law Group cannot provide updates regarding application status or notify non-winning applicants individually. The scholarship recipient will be notified via email, and the winner will also be announced on Earley Law Group’s blog and through a press release.
The $2,500 scholarship award will be mailed directly to the recipient’s college or university. Instructions for sending the payment will be requested from the student at the time the award is issued. Earley Law Group reserves the right to request additional documentation from the winner to confirm enrollment status and academic standing before the scholarship funds are distributed.
