Elmiron Lawsuits

Elmiron is a drug produced by Janssen Pharmaceutical. This drug has been prescribed for years to people with painful bladder syndrome, also called interstitial cystitis (IC). Elmiron was first discovered to be dangerous in 2015 by doctors in Atlanta. These doctors found that a small group of women with maculopathy had all taken Elmiron for a number of years.

Further scientific research found a link between this drug and maculopathy. There were though never any warnings to users of Elmiron that eye disease could be caused by using the product. It turns out that for many years many people taking Elmiron, regardless of the dosage, were harming their vision as a direct result of taking this drug. But, during this time, the drug continued to be given to many, many innocent and unsuspecting people.
