Man on scooter hurt in crash with bus at Old Colony, Dorchester

BOSTON, MA – An auto-pedestrian crash involving an MBTA bus sent a man to the hospital Tuesday night in south Boston, reports WCVB 5.

Authorities say the collision occurred around 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of Old Colony Avenue and Dorchester Street in the Columbus Park area.

The early investigation indicates that the bus driver may have had the right of way when a man on his scooter entered the vehicle’s path.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.

Aside from the driver, the bus was empty at the time of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
