Collision on I-95 at Exit 35 in Norfolk County injures 2

NEEDHAM, MA – An entrapment crash along the interstate in north-central Norfolk County injured two people on Monday evening, reports WCVB 5.

The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on I-95 at Exit 35 in Needham, which is approximately 18 miles southwest of Boston.

Police haven’t yet shared any details about the collision except to say that at least two vehicles were involved and that one of the drivers became entrapped in their car.

Following extrication efforts, medics transported two people to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials closed Exit 35 for around an hour and a half while crews attended to the victims, gathered evidence, and worked to clear the scene.

No charges have been announced thus far. A full investigation is underway.
