SPRINGFIELD, MA – Two adults and one child sustained injuries Saturday in a two-vehicle entrapment collision in south-central Hampden County, reports WWLP 22.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the intersection of Cooper Street and Sedgewick Street on the southeast side of Springfield, which is about 95 miles southwest of Boston.
Police haven’t yet disclosed any details about the cause or circumstances of the crash except to say that one person became pinned in their vehicle.
Medics transported all three people, including a child, to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
The collision likely caused traffic delays at Cooper and Sedgewick while crews worked to help the victims and clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
