SEEKONK, MA – An 18-year-old woman died, and several others were hurt Sunday in a three-vehicle crash along the interstate in west-central Bristol County.
According to Boston 25 News, the multi-vehicle collision occurred around 11 p.m. on the westbound side of I-195 in the city of Seekonk, which is about an hour southwest of Boston.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the accident, which they say involved a Mazda 3, a Toyota Tacoma, and a Yamaha XVS motorcycle. The Tacoma overturned during the collision, and all three vehicles were significantly damaged.
One person from the Mazda, identified as Abriana Herrera Perez, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Medics transported three additional teens from the Mazda, the motorcycle operator, and the driver of Tacoma to area hospitals with injuries of unknown severity.
A full investigation is underway.
