ATTLEBORO, MA – One person sustained injuries Monday morning in a single-vehicle collision along a major roadway in northwest Bristol County, reports NBC 10 Boston.
Shortly after 8 a.m., emergency teams responded to South Main Street between Bearcourt Drive and Thurber Avenue in southwest Attleboro. This is about an hour southwest of Boston.
Police haven’t yet commented on the the cause of the accident. They say that a vehicle struck and broke a utility pole before overturning along South Main Street.
The driver of the vehicle went to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There do not appear to have been any other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Photos taken at the scene indicate that a red car or SUV was likely involved.
A full investigation is underway.
