The Importance of the Accident Report Following Your Massachusetts Accident

Whether you have been involved in a Massachusetts automobile accident, slip and fall, dog bite, or any other kind of accident, call the police!  The purpose of having the police arrive at the accident scene is to insure there is an objective report of the accident.  The Massachusetts police report will name the parties involved, the facts of the accident, and most importantly, who is responsible for the accident.

A solid Massachusetts personal injury claim starts with the police report.  If the police report is in your favor (it names the other party at fault for the accident), the insurance company will probably admit "liability."  Liability is the primary component of your Massachusetts personal injury claim.  Later, down the road, you will have to establish your "damages."  But without establishing "liability," the element of "damages" is irrelevant.  Always call the police if you have been involved in any kind of Massachusetts accident!
