New Handbook for Massachusets Pro Se Litigants

The bostonchannel.com reports today that the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court (the highest court in Massachusetts) announced that for people who represent themselves in Massachusetts courts, a new handbook will be made available.  According to the Chief Justice, the handbook will advise people on "courtroom demeanor, personnel and procedure."

I think this is a great idea for helping those people who cannot afford lawyers.  Perhaps with this handbook, these pro se litigants will be able to handle their own case without the assistance of a lawyer, assuming of course, that the case is a relatively simple one.  Please click here for the full article.
